A WORD FOR THE NEW ERA PIONEERS!
Pioneering right now looks different from what it used to.
It's not in the building of empires or movements.
It's outside the busyness of career Christianity's to-do list and run sheet.
It's not in the networking and backrubbing to get ahead.
It's not in posting on social media or gaining a following.
It's not in trying desperately to be relevant or current.
It's found in the simple yes.
It's found in lingering in the presence when everyone else is running hard.
It's found in loving your family well - your first ministry.
It's found in the dialogue to His quiet whispers while others look for fireworks.
It's found in the dying to your ways of doing things and waiting intently for his instructions…even when they don't make sense.
It's found in refusing to bow to the fear of man or people's expectations of what you should be saying or doing.
Pioneering happens when you lose your appetite and love for man's ways and methods.
Only then can you break new ground.
Only then can you access the new wine and fresh manna...
Right now, many are feeling lost, but God is stripping away their taste for the old manna.
He is removing your longing to be seen and influential in the current streams when He has called you to forge new wellsprings in dry places.
He is causing you to feel deeply dissatisfied with anything manufactured or man-made, so you begin to lean into His blueprint for the days to come.
This is why you have felt lost.
You are living in a city that is not yet built.
You are living in a future paradigm that has yet to be constructed.
So it begins here...let the fire take it all.
Let the fresh baptism purge you of any craving for the old meal.
You are called to the new table with a new feast—destined to ring the dinner bell of a new era.
“For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.” — Hebrews 13:14-15
